From a growler
Pale, barely-hazy gold , with light , long-lasting white head.
Smell is dank , turpenes/resin, floral, light citrus, slightly bready.
Taste is dried pineapple , grapefruit, mango, bitter orange, candied lemon rind, a touch of toasted golden bread. Moderate bitterness.
Feel is medium light , with moderate very fine carbonation, that gives a little tingle on the finish.
Overall, OK. Guessing that this either a little young, or a little old. Probably young . Still pleasant though.

poured from can - not sure of date but i'm told it was fresh
amber hazy orange pour
smell - lots of tropical and citrus
taste - a juicy IPA. big fruits flavors, very bright and fresh and candied. really nice rounded out, soft malt profile and decent bitterness on the backend
feel - medium, nicely soft
overall excellent - it says this beer is retired but hopefully that will change.

L: Hazy, though not completely opaque--still somewhat translucent--amber with a tight white head that leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Super dank, resinous, green, and grassy, but with some tropical notes as well. Apricot, mango, peach, papaya, pineapple, even hints of strawberry like in the other Upstate hazy IPAs, though not quite as prominent. Bready sweetness as well.
T: Peach, mango, apricot, papaya and pineapple upfront; chewy, toasty bready malt in the middle, which turns into a earthy and grassy, mildly bitter finish, which sits on the tongue for a bit with some lingering citrus notes as well.
F: Medium-full bodied, slightly chewy, but soft on the palate. Not thick or creamy, though. It goes down quite easy. Carbonation is perceptibly light, but it has left lots of head and lacing.
O: Another excellent IPA from Upstate. I don't think it's quite as good their Double or 2016 Ale, but this is easier on the palate and seems more drinkable. Overall, a very good beer.

Had a sample at the brewery and a pint at WOB. Nice Amber color and the Aussie hops create an unusual tropical hoppy taste that is not so piney. A nice departure from so many of the typical IPA's.
