crowler from Tap & Mallet - Rochester, NY
pours hazy amber orange
smell - lots of tropical when cracking the can
taste - tropical fruits, nice malt backbone and a soft bitterness
feel - a little past medium on this one, feeling is just a tad syrup but in a good way and makes sense for a "winter" DIPA
overall great, first upstate i've tried and its quite a sophisticated brew that's also on trend with the IPA style right now...this one executed nicely

On tap at Stoneyard Beer Hall and Grill in Webster, NY.

This one pours a pretty hazy orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

Smells like tangerine, guava, grapefruit, white pepper, clean hoppy pine, and grassiness.

This has a fascinating bitterness to it- super clean and herbal, with a blast of tropical tangerine, some bitter grapefruit, some sort of exotic fruit thing that reminds me of guava, sold mango maybe, with pine and grassiness galore. This is exemplary.

This has a clean and juicy mouthfeel, with a good level of carbonation.

Upstate's on the way up. They make some excellent beers.
