This one pours a hazy dark orange, with a small half inch head, and lots of lacing.

Smells really weird, like tart and overripe/rotten lime, candied tangerine, fake medicinal blueberry, medicinal and astringent bitterness, and guava.

This is kind of hard to drink. It's super odd, as there's a supercharged and kinda syrupy overripe fruit flavor up front, and a weird medicinal astringency on the finish. Everything clashes super hard. I usually really like Motueka hops (don't have much experience with Wai-Iti), but this seems to be a gross misuse of them. It kind of tastes like old lime syrup or something like that. There's a slight tartness that's also not super welcome.

This is medium bodied, kinda syrupy and not crisp, with a normal level of carbonation for the style.

This is 100% a miss from Upstate. It's a shame- they do make some good stuff, but this is nearly undrinkable.
