On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

This one pours an only slightly hazy orange, with a small head, and lots of lacing. I'm used to their beers being turbid monsters so this is kind of nice.

This smells like slightly juicy grapefruit, some melon, and grassy hops.

There's luckily no diacetyl here- Upstate has been having a lot of trouble with that lately. It's crisp and clean, and not super juicy, with a nice firm bitterness on the finish. I get pine, grass, melon, and grapefruit. It's a classic IPA build, it's been done many times- so it's not exactly treading new ground. It's still good, though.

This is pretty crisp, clean finish, with a good level of carbonation.

This is a step up from some of Upstate's recent disasters.

Hazy gold appearance.
The nose offers yellow peaches, mango, pineapple, tangerine juice, papaya.
The taste is yellow peach, ripe mango and papaya, pineapple and tangerine juice. Ends quite bitterly with some dankness and pungent orange and grapefruit peel.
The mouthfeel is medium-heavy, creamy in the middle, but ends lighter.
