We double mashed this stout to give it extra body and a velvety smooth finish. Finished with hazelnut for a perfect sweet/nutty complement.

Mary Jane's Veil pours black, with a tiny, lacing tan head. The aroma is rich, with lots of hazelnut and hints of chocolate. The flavor is much the same, lots of hazelnuts, some chocolate notes, and creamy. The feel is a little light. Overall, very very tasty, sweet stout.

On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
The nose on this beer is fantastic - rich, creamy, toasty and nutty, with just tons of hazelnut, some vanilla, and milk chocolate.
The taste isn't quite as fantastic as the nose was, but it's still solid. The flavor drops off a bit near the end, but up front it's creamy hazelnut goodness, with a solidly milk chocolatey base beer. There's not a ton of roast or bitterness, but it doesn't manage to be too cloying or anything..
This is very creamy, with a decent body, not too thick, but creamy and rich all the same.
I really didn't know what to expect with this one, but I was pleasantly surprised.
