Interesting. Yeah, I know, not a word that instills confidence. Not should it in this case, because while it's drinkable, I found it harsh. Then again, I'm not sure about the whole Black IPA thing. If you're new to Union, ALWAYS start with their Double Duckpin. It's Maryland's best IPA, tied with Flying Dog's The Truth.
