Citrus sensation but not overwhelming. Drinks real clean. A real nice IPA with a nice ABV!

Slightly hazy gold, thin white head. Crap retention, but ok lace
Tropical fruit and tea-like aroma. Not too strong
Lots of tropical fruit and citrus in flavor, some black tea in there as well
Medium bodied with low carbonation
Not their best work. Dig the sledgehammer and t-square on the label, though

NO CANNING DATE
L: Clear copper. Light head.. mild lingering on the lacing side.
S: Orange rind, lemon, pine.
T: Orange with mild lemon. Pine is present, but weak.
F: Light to medium, a little bitter.. mildly carbonated.
O: A really tasty beer. The highlight here is in the aromas...but the rest is not far behind.

Had on tap at Lures Bar & Grille. This IPA has nice citrus aroma and flavor from the citra and mosaic hops, but it also has an odd saccharine sweetness to it. Not terrible but definitely not what I expected.

*32 ounce Crowler poured into a Bourbon Snifter*
I was at one of my favorite beer places today (not mentioning any names). I seen this on the Tap Line and ordered a sample. At first taste I knew I wanted to take this beer home. So onward with the review!
The appearance is exceptional for being a Neo IPA without that UTI sample Haze/Chalk viscosity. This brew pours golden like an American attempt at a Pilsner. It has a Haze to it but not on the same tier as other IPAs on the market. Has a nice White Bubble Head that makes the whole picture worth while.
Time for the smell! Well this has the Aroma you’d expect from an IPA today. Citrus makes it way first with an Orange peel aggression. Second some Guava and and Clean Pine makes it way to the Nostrils. Backend has a toasted Wheat cracker Vibe. Nice but sorta with the Status Quo.
Da Flavah? Its all over the place! Starts out with a sharp Hop Oil Assault. Citrus and Floral hit the buds first. Then a second wave of subtle grass and Guava. Before this beer finishes a gnarly wave of Pilsner malts makes itself known! I’m glad it’s there for a support and doesn’t leave you wanting more out of this brew. This finishes with a Resinous/Weed vibe that I love in an IPA. Slight bitterness accents in the background yet not enough to ruin your palate. Aftertaste of Citrus and Crackers. The feel of this brew is nice and playful on the palate. Carbonation is above par and scrubs the tastebuds as the beer dances on your tongue.
Overall: I went into this beer with an open mind. I thought it was gonna be a “Hazy/Juice” Bomb of an IPA, yet I’m happy I went with this choice. The use of Pilsner malts adds a dimension to a Stagnic IPA cliche. All the flavors make sense and is rather brilliantly done. I’m a Resinous and Earth IPA guy and this beer executes both Fruity and Resinous Hop Oils. This Brew Is Recommended!
