The holidays are approaching. You’ve pulled up to the lot, probably in a parking space that’s far too tight, and found yourself sizing up a row of evergreens. One’s too tall, one’s too scraggly, and one might actually fit on the car. You’ll figure it out, but for now, you’re thinking about what to drink when you get home.
Enter Lot Trees: our West Coast Imperial Red Rye IPA built for holiday chaos. It pours a deep tawny red with aromas of pine resin, grapefruit peel, toffee, plus a hint of “I swear this tree looked smaller outside.” Notes of stone fruit, baking spice, and orange blossom honey follow, wrapped up in a warm, lingering finish of cedar and citrus pith.
It’s a little bit of bitterness, a little bit of sweetness, and just enough alcohol warmth to make you forget that you parked too close to that car with the bumper sticker that says “Tell Your Dog I Said Hi.”

Clear copper appearance with a large off white head that left plenty of lacing. Resinous aroma developed notes of citrus with a hint of stone fruit by the time the glass was empty. Hops stood tall in the flavor while a solid malt base provided a good contrast. The spices in the aftertaste gave it a warming holiday feel without being overwhelming. Medium-to-full bodied mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Executes the West Coast style pretty well.
