Pours a very dark brown with 1 finger tan head. Aroma slightly bitter chocolate, burnt caramel, bit of piney note. Tastes of caramel malt with touch of bitterness, cereal - grainy, some coffee and a bit of pilsner type effect. Smooth mouthfeel with creamy carbonation. Quite well done if not remarkable, very drinkable.
