P49/Cannery Brewing 'Gimme Shelter' apple ipa @ 7.0% , served from a 341 ml bottle purchased for $2.50
A-pour is a light gold from the bottle to a clear pale gold in the glass with a small white head leaving a spotty lace along the pint
S-green apples , very cider like
T-tart ipa , again very cider like
MF-ok carbonation , big medium body
Ov-ok beer , weak ipa

Maybe apple in a Belgian Blonde. Or apple in a Berliner Weisse. This is just a straight up fail.

341ml bottle poured into tulip 10/5/16
A clear golden yellow, looks like carbonated apple juice, just a finger of short lived foam falls in a flash leaving a single partial ring where it existed
S smells like a cider beer mix, pie filing, caramel, almost a farmhouse yeast thing going on, some baking bread, maybe just a hint of spruce, I don't think I'd ever guess Apple IPA
T maybe some fruity hops notes but more apple cider/juice then hops, again there's an odd yeast at work here
M lighter bodied, softens up, some booze going down is a little out of place at 7%, slick o the palate, odd yeasty apple finish
O something different anyways, interesting at times but its just an odd mix overall, no real flaws just a strange brew
I can't really recommend or discourage you to try this one, maybe a crossover beer for cider lovers?

7% abv, 22 ibu, 341ml bottle.
A - clear golden with one finger white head.
S - grassy, floral, banana, citrus, earthy, some funky tartness hide at the back.
T - mild carbonation, light-mid body. lack of apple flavor, more like Belgium ipa to me. good malt backbone, low bitterness.
O - I was expecting lots of apple appearance, but not that case, as well as the hoppiness. refreshing beer.

I love Cannery Brewing and everything it evokes - summertime, beaches, and plenty of fun in the Okanagan. This is a tasty IPA that errs on the side of hopped cider. I would more than happy to have my toes in the water, ass in the sand, and this beer in my hand. Wrong band, wrong song, but whatever. This is tasty stuff.

341ml bottle poured into tulip.
Pours a slightly hazy medium yellow with half a finger of white head that leaves arctic horizon lace as it recedes.
Smells of sweet apple, fruit salad, bready pale malt and mild pine resin.
Tastes of cold apple pie, muddled citrus rind, more white bread pale malt and soft piney hops.
Feels soft and smooth. Medium bodied with mildly fizzy carbonation. Finishes off-dry.
Verdict: Recommended. Probably more than decent on a hot day.

Poured from a 341ml bottle.
A: pours a Light Gold Yellow with a good thick white head and very sticky lacing.
S: A sweet fruity nose some mild yeast and hops.
T: Well a pretty mild IPA somewhat sweet taste with the very distant apple some hops but again hidden in there.
F: A thick feel in the mouth not bad but its there with the sweetness from the fruit.
O: Interesting play with apples add more hops and dry it out .
