Crystal clear golden with bright white billowing head. Yeasty, lemon furniture polish aroma. Taste continues from there with honey malt notes. Good yeast presence and little booziness. Finished dry. Solid

341ml bottle poured into tulip 20/5/16

A clear golden yellow, about as many tiny bubbles as you could fit in a glass, two dense fingers of foam just sit there for ages, random lace all the way down the glass and still some foam at the bottom

S spicy and grainy, over ripe pineapple, green apple, lots of yeast a little booze, white pepper, smells the part

T what I smell but almost has a lager yeast or a malt liquor thing going on, hard to describe but its holding it back, still spicy and grainy but a step back from the nose

M has some weight, pin prick bubbles work well, still has some heat and at 8% its drinking like something much higher, grainy, boozy finish

O started off well and kinda fizzled out, decent brew but nothing memorable

A little boozy for 8% but with some tweaks I could see this one being better, has that malt liquor booze flavor popping up here and there holding it back

8% abv, N/A ibu, 341ml bottle.
A - clear light golden with half finger head.
S - earthy, banana, tartness, sweet, peach, clove, cherry, floral, spice.
T - low carbonation, medium smooth body. sweet coating tongue, syrupy, bubblegum(indeed), fruity, yeasty; cracker, biscuit, grainy malt characters to balance, ran out dry, leaving really good bready aftertaste, fairly...
O - wow, this beer's flavors r more complex than the nose suggests, which likes a surprise! like this brew, def top 4 of the pack.

Run to the Hills/Run for Your Lives!

The upside is that this beer kicks ass in 8 minutes or less (like the beer's namesake.) I have no doubt about commitment to great beer. My concern lies with children being scared of gigantic reaper figures named Eddie.

Pours a clear rich straw colour with a finger thick white head that has fairly good retention. The nose leads with citrus fruits like Macintosh Apples and pear. There is also some sweet pale malts and a floral hop note near the edges. The taste starts with those same malt notes but is joined by some yeastiness and hop bitterness. The fruit that was in the nose is there in the flavour but reminds me a bit of grandma's canned fruit. The mouthfeel is in the mid-range with an active carbonation and slight alcohol burn. An enjoyable strong ale.

341ml bottle poured into tulip.

Pours a clear medium yellow with one finger of white head that leaves eroded mountainous horizon lace as it recedes.

Smells of grainy pale malt, faint apple, peach, peppery yeast and mild floral hops.

Tastes of more mildly sweet pale malt, stewed peaches, fruity and spicy yeast, noticable alcohol and more soft flowery hops.

Feels soft and fuzzy. Medium bodied with gentle carbonation. Finishes off sweet.

Verdict: Recommended. Pretty good if you're into this sort of thing.

Surprising malt body, I'm guessing it's all malt with a good dose of carapils.
