Undecipherable date code (Consumed May-9)
A:
It pours relatively cloudy with two inches of brief white head, drops to a film. Ok retention; hint of lacing. (4)
S:
Stonefruit, citrus, potpourri, juniper, some doughy sweetness. (4)
T:
Powdery, hoppy resinousness, underlying peach fruitiness, pine, polleny, vague caramel twinge in the finish. (4)
M:
Fairly dry, a little alcohol presence (goes with the name), moderate carbonation. (3.75)
O:
Pretty tasty IIPA.
Looks nice enough. The aroma and flavor are floral/woodsy/piney happiness and some sweetness paired with a little boozy kick. I honestly don't know if it is just the power of suggestion, but as it warms it is a little perfumey for all the good and bad that entails. Drinkable, but definitely big, bitter but neither overly bracing nor fruity. A tasty beer that I would have again. (3.75)

Poured from a 473ml can. From BYPS-(Cheap Perfume is a double dry-hopped double IPA (DDH DIPA). It was brewed with super premium Golden Promise Malt and 150lbs of Citra and Mosaic hops. Cryo Hops, the concentrated lupulin powder of Citra and Mosaic, were first used in the whirlpool and later used to aggressively dry hop)
Bibo says it all a pretty interesting DDH Double IPA,this one grows on you as it goes down.

16oz pint at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square - the only place in the province to currently stock it. A 'double dry hopped hazy IPA'.
This beer appears an uber-turbid, dirty dishwater 'yellow' colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and somewhat bubbly off-white head, which leaves a bit of defrosting back windshield pattern lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of gritty and grainy pale malt, muddled domestic citrus rind, some hard water flintiness, and faint leafy, weedy, and piney green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy cereal malt, lactose sugars, still hard to parse citrus notes, a damp minerality, and more leafy, weedy, and floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly benign in its bored-seeming frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, as the hops here seem to be of the benevolent sort, as such. It finishes off-dry, the malt, milk sugars, and fading hops arranging themselves thusly.
Overall - this surely comes across as a pleasantly rendered, and beyond hazy version of the sub-style, with a very low bitterness quotient, so NEDIPA all the way! Easy to put back, and quite enjoyable, thanks in part to the thoroughly masked, north of 16-proof wowee sauce component. Good stuff!
