Slightly dated can so not completely fair review.
Aroma faintly citrus - lemon dominant, a bit of over ripe raspberry, and hints of pine and just a touch of sweaty dankness.
Taste of slightly tart malt - lemon, red grapefruit, orange rind, a bit floral and here get the wine note - then just a little hit of aspirin sharpness.
Thinner side of medium bodied with a bit of acidic sharpness on the tongue and a lingering citric bitterness.
Swayed wildly while drinking between good and meh...in end was enjoyable enough but not something I would reach for again (though perhaps I should get a fresher one down the line).

473ml can - a hazy IPA made with Gewürztraminer grape must from The Hatch winery in West Kelowna.

This beer pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden straw colour, with two fingers of puffy, rocky, and gently fizzy eggshell white head, which leaves a bit of jet contrail pattern lace around the glass as it quickly dissipates.

It smells of dank pine resin, bready and grainy cereal malt, faint green grape fruity notes, some stoney flintiness, and more leafy, weedy, and herbal green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, ethereal white wine lees, some damp minerality, and more leafy, piney, and floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is pretty flat-footed in its innocuous frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of an adequate time at this particular juncture. It finishes off-dry, the malt and bland fruitiness showing some unenthusiastic lingering 'tude.

Overall - yeah, if the label hadn't mentioned that Gewürz was used in brewing this offering, I probably wouldn't have even noticed, it's that understated. Other than that, this is a decent NE-style pale ale, easy to drink, and given that it's Parallel 49, easy on the ol' wallet.
