Look: Clear straw color. Light head that dropped back to a thin skiff a minute after the pour. Small amount of lacing left on the glass. Mix of small and medium sized bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass.
Smell: Very light mint scent. Swirling the glass kicks up a mix of vegetable and floral scents. Nothing particularly associated with gin though.
Taste: Very floral flavor. Mild bitters that last long into the aftertaste. Very light orange spice and a touch of toasted malt.
Feel: Slowly turns into a coarse foam with a little tingle on the tongue.
Overall: Lighter flavor than I would expect for a Belgian inspired ale. The gin-botanicals are almost non-existent, especially when compared with Gebrouwen door Vrouwen's Gin Weizen. Some added juniper would have been welcome.
