A- Well this doesn't start off well.....upon opening my can I was greeted by a fountain of foam spraying every which way, creating quite the mess....and in the process I probably lost almost a quarter of my brew. Thanks to my daughter for cleaning up the spillage in an orderly timeframe :) The brew itself is quite hazy, with chill haze being the primary factor here....the color is gold/yellow, and the head is pretty much non existent, with only a white film covering the top of the liquid. The carbonation is hard to tell here, but I do think there is quite a bit of it, as I see a lot of fine bubbles popping at the top, while the lacing is sticky and small patches cling to the inside of the glass. Overall an underwhelming looking Pils, that I am kinda unhappy about my initial intro to it. Artwork on the can is cool though....a play on Clint Eastwood!

S- I would say it is very bready upon initial smells, with plenty of yeast, wheaty biscuit, plenty of sweet Pilsner malts noted, creating a sweet caramel aroma along brown sugars/molasses. There is a slight fruity aroma about this too.....orchard apple and pear with perhaps a bit of citrus rind zest on the finish. The finish doesn't seem to have any hop bitterness to it, but rather a cloying malty sweetness.

T- The flavors follow suit to the aforementioned aromas quite well, with much more intense malt sweetness, fruity apple/pear flesh, biscuit like fresh white bread, plenty of yeasty creaminess, and fresh caramel barley malt.....toasted and rich. The finish is not resembling anything like a Pils should be, and comes across more of a malt beverage that I would find in the Caribbean with less intensity on the palate. Below average in this category for sure.

M/O- The mouthfeel is medium-full in body....almost flabby, while the carbonation is definitely there....very fine and soft on the palate. The drinkability of this one is not the greatest in my opinion, and when I'm done with this can, I'll be happily done with this beer. I dont find it particularly pleasant and think this one needs a lot of work.....it reminds me of a low alcohol session ale as opposed to an Italian Pilsner style, and I think this one is a pass.....boy I certainly have not had a disappointing beer like this one in awhile!
