I think that this is my introduction to the CDA--and this is uncharted territory for me.
Cascadian Dark Ale.
I will have to explore other CDA's from other brewers because this genre of beer is new to me.
A lot of head. I tried the Belgian Blonde from this company and it wasn't really in the same ball park as this excellent beer. It has the feel of a dark porter but once the taste settles in it seems lighter and hoppier, I guess, along the lines of an ipa.
It did have a mild sweetness to it like citrus or grape...
I'm looking forward to the Moby Dick double IPA.
