Brewed with fresh Strata hops for the 2022 season, enjoyed on tap.
This is my first hazy FH beer, as far as I can recall. And honestly, it doesn’t do much for the beer or as a showcase for fresh hops. I get some of the FH character on the nose, and it’s there on the finish if I strain.

Look: Turbid-looking yellow-orange with a luscious and fast-forming head that pillows up, pun intended, and holds for a bit, slowly settling to reveal copious lacing left behind
Aroma: Candied orange, ruby-red grapefruit rind, mixed berry puree, wafts of juicy fruit gum, a little dank, and some malt
Taste: A total fresh and juicy citrus fruit salad sucker punches the palate upon first sip and quickly develops as light grassy notes and berries follow suit. Dank notes weave in and out throughout and closes with more citrus and berries
Mouthfeel: Full, lightly slick, medium-high carbonation, and a fairly soft finish
Overall: This is good and kind of swaying my thoughts on FH hazies "not showcasing the fresh hops well" feelings as this one has plenty and it's discernable from what the late/dry hop additions bring. A tasty brew and my kind of hazy with some of the fresh hop oiliness keeping the feel slicker rather than heavier. Recommended
