On cask at the brewery. Dark brown color, decent head. Aroma is roasty, bits of hops, just slightly better than ok. Flavor is not that hoppy to me at first, just a standard english porter but then the aftertaste is quite bitter. Overall this was ok but it wasn't worth the $7 I paid for a glass.

Pours jet black. Ruby hues outside. Almost no head. Very thin off white ring.
Smells of alcohol and faint dirt and grains. Meh
Taste is much better. Smooth almost burnt bread, a bit caramel like sweetness and some very faint coffee. Middle to back is nice earthy hop with medium bitterness. Leafy and almost a bit florally.
Medium bodied, very drinkable
A nice brew but I wish the aroma was bigger

This is a pretty darn good beer right here.
Have to have it on cask--of course
Pours a lovely rich brown, reverse cascading foam forms a nice white head, a little red tinge underneath it. Beauty!
Aroma is a very nice blend of nut, brown sugar, some earthy hops (fuggle i believe) and toast. It stays away from the coffee and chocolate extremes and sits right down in the middle.
Taste follows the nose. While not overly nutty or sweet, the earthiness is just right. Rich but not polarizing. Very nice beer. Feel has a bit of a hop bite, but it is subtle. Great beer
