The bartender described this one to me as a cross between a Vienna lager and a Helles. I got a lot more of the Helles, but there was just a bit of sweetness to it, so I get the idea. I didn't think it was 5.5%, that's for sure. I had this on keg, and I wonder how it would taste on cask - it would either be really good or really off, I think - it might mellow out too much. But I'd give it a try if they ever do this!

Had on tap at the brewery 20oz
On the pour a nice white 2 fi ger head formed and left nice lacing until the very end of the drink which I was nursing slowly. Nice fine but active carbonation and decent head retention on a golden yellow body.
Aroma is bright and hoppy with a light note of clean lager yeast that brings some slight dough and a nice light crackery malt. Quite simple and light with some light citric notes.
Taste follows the aroma and continues with the drinkable notes and is a nice slightly hoppy German style lager. This beer is somewhere in between a helles and a pils with slightly higher fermentation notes and a little hop bitterness.
Feel is super smooth woth moderate carbonation, and a nice smooth head on each sip.super drinkable with a medium long finish mostly with the hops.
Despite being a mostly British brewery, this is a real nice German style lager. Clean woth some noble hops and very smooth despite being a slightly higher abv.
