an interesting find at an English influenced brewery. I thought this would be a Dark English Mild, but this one is dry hopped with Mittelfruh. I'm going with Schwarzbier...
Pours a thin looking black, contrasted with a nice white, creamy head. Looks good.
Somewhat spicy, grassy aroma. I assume from the hops. Not much else going on here. Some dark roasted malt, seems a bit stale.
A bit fruity in the taste, but that goes Dodo quickly. Some soft black malts. All overpowered by the hops, which dry this one out quite a bit. Earthy and a touch bready.
Thin feel.
