On draught at the brewery.
A dark gold pour with a decent head that settles into a substantial collar.
The toasted caramel malt is accompanied by substantial hops, light pine, citrus and pleasant enjoyable bitterness.

12 oz can direct from the source today...no canning date info, but I was assured that "it was just canned"

Tasty, well hopped, and with ample, smooth, maple malt undergirding. Well done, full flavor, quite enjoyable in an old school American IPA style.

A clear copper with a large off-white head that falls off to a ring rapidly, this looks solid. The nose is a disappointing blend of caramel, candied grapefruit, honey and pine. The palate opens rather bitter with an astringent hop character. Flavors of pine, candied grapefruit and grapefruit pith are present. There's also a toasty sweetness present with a blend of caramel and toffee. Medium in body and highly carbonated, this beer has a long, bitter finish. This is an old school East Coast IPA, a style i do not care for.

Well balanced brew at 6.5% ABV with plenty of select malted barley, and an aggressive dose of premium hops. Pours with a full head of foam and a rich orange shade. Full aroma of the citrus and pine. Very flavorful hop profile although full backbone of malted barley to hide all the bitterness. Lots of hoppiness yet well balanced.

Pours a nice clear dark yellow with a good off white head that laces the glass as you drink it. The smell is full of tropical fruits and a little bit of pine, but not much. The taste was a bit more understated than the smell with some hop characteristics coming through on the finish. Not very clean but it did have some tasty flavors.
