Handpump half-pint at the Southwark Tavern.

A: Clear pale gold body with a fine finger of white foam. Ok retention, some sticky lace. Not bad.

S: Nice, clean, and balanced. Bready malt, herbal hops. Some hints of fruit (citrus). Lovely absence of sulfurous yeast. Enjoyable.

T: Sweet at first, with plenty of bready malt carrying the day. Some herbal, fruity hops add balance and crispness. Solid lager.

M: Fairly light body, with car to match. A little thin.

O: Very nice little lager. I'd almost always rather have a Bitter, but in a pinch this would make for a perfectly good, drinkable pint.

Cheers!
