Angry Pirate pours a hazy golden color with a big lacing head. Big earthy malty aroma. The taste is very earthy, big flavors, that are sweeter and maltier. Good feel and strong flavors. Overall its a very earthy malty, sweeter IPA.

L: Pours hazy straw gold – SRM 5, cream colored foam cap that quickly dissipates, lacy. S: Spicy fruit, black pepper, some citrus, rye spice, bread crumbs. Hop aromas and malt are both medium and well balanced. T: Rich malt flavors are medium to medium high. Some rye spice with traces of black pepper. Medium high hop bitterness and flavor. Balance leans to the malt. Starts lightly sweet with a drying finish assisted with mild astringent malt flavors. F: Very creamy texture with medium to slightly above medium body. Medium to just below medium carbonation. Mild alcohol warming but not as much as the abv would indicate. O: A big, pleasant drinking Rye IPA.
