Pored from a traditional cask. They pumped the handle to pour the beer into a glass, also served at a higher temp maybe than normal 45-50 degrees. Nice head that disappeared slowly. Lots of lacing.
Enticing smell with some spice notes that match the taste. Great mouthfeel not too thick. Goes down smooth with some end spice notes. Nutmeg and pepper.
Overall a really drinkable scotch ale. So much flavor and no hint of an 8.6 ABV
