On tap at the brewpub today.
The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose, right off the bat, you can tell you're in for a treat with this one. There is a lovely aroma of light tropical fruit, light onion, pine and a hint of honey, along with some underlying watermelon. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely in this excellent DIPA, though I loved the light and clean finish in this beer. There's excellent bitterness in this well balanced DIPA, and drinkability is exceptional. Yes, you can tell the abv. is up there a bit in this beer, but the beer is not the least bit hot, cloying or heavy on the palate
Stopped for a glass of the cruxtennial and crystal zwickle, but this ended up being the star of our visit to the pub. Absolutely outstanding, I just wish this were around all the time.
