Although farmhouse ales originated in the French region of Belgium, we’ve adopted them as our own, finding them to offer refreshing relief during any season. Inspired by the early summer bounty, we infused local peaches to make one of our favorite styles even tastier. Oregon peaches, both sweet and tart, combine with the traditional spicy saison notes and earthy esters to round out this palate pleaser.

Rated 10-11-2019. In my opinion Farmhouse ale are alright, but I had to try this one because I like Crux and Peaches. Could have used a little more peach flavor, but it still is one of the best fruit beers I have tried. Most just have a slight fruit flavor. 25 IBUs

Clear, slightly hazy. Light head. Being that peaches are the star ingredient, it's no surprise to get a noseful when take awhiff. Not overpowering, like walking through an orchard's storeroom. The taste is dry, with fruit noted, mild bitterness, not much of a finish. It's well made for a fruit beer, a bit short of exceptional.
In fairness to Crux, we want to point out that we rated the beer in late April '19 -- which is 9 months after bottling. It held up remarkably well. We bought it in Aug '18 and held in the beer fridge the whole time.

Smooth and fruity with a tang. Clear golden brew with lots of lacing in the Blanche de Chambly goblet. Light peach aroma with a whiff of yeast. Light and crisp mouthfeel.
Rather sweet and malty with a big wheaty, cereal taste. Yes, peaches, with just a little sharp acidity to take the edge off the sugar. Then it dries out in the finish. A little plum skins in the aftertaste. Eminently sippable. From the 500 ml bottle purhased at Elizabeth Station in Washington.
