Taster at Growler Guys. Bright golden hue with a small foamy head. Aroma is dank and tropical, and it works. Taste brings out more of the tropical fruit, melon, with a nice dank hoppy finish. Nice!

12oz can poured into 14oz teku. Poured a very attractive clean, clear light copper gold color with an inch of just off-white head that had good retention and very good lacing.
The aroma was dominated by that healthy dose of fresh picked hops. some citrus, some floral, and a hint of leafy-ness. There was just a slight grain scent. Pretty similar on the tongue, hop dominant and soft grain.
The body was light-medium, smooth, clean, and had a semi-dry finish. Drinkability was awesome, i may have to go back and grab a 4-pack. This is a collaboration brew with Bale Breaker, and I had the BB version earlier, I prefer this one. A must try if you see it.

Crux and Bale Breaker? Mosaic and Simcoe fresh hops? Yes please!!!
Beautiful crystal clear golden color with a proud and abundant white foam above. Nice spotty lacing too. This looks exceptionally delicious.
From the crack of the can, an explosion of aroma pours out. Weed, blueberry, melon, pine, passion fruit. It smells just as good as it looks.
Wow. This is just down right delicious. The Mosaic and Simcoe just shine perfectly together with all those same attributes mentioned above blending seemless together. With just the lightest bit of sweet bread underneath, the tropical and evergreen notes shine with the berries mingling in there at just the right level.
It's slick and smooth with a clean finish. Noticeable alcohol warmth but not overdone at all. Surprisingly balanced just barely favoring the bitter edge.
One of the best fresh hop beers I've had this year. A little strong on the booze, but overall just outstanding. Cheers.

Tried the Bale Breaker and Crux versions side by side. Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with coppery tones and two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus and lightly grassy hops, a little lemon, herbal. Flavor is pale malt, citrus, piney and grassy hops, mixed citrus and light mixed tropical and stone fruit; mellow, but herbal hop finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess and nice mouth feel. A really well integrated, but complex flavor that has lots of herbal hop and fruit flavors, but no one thread is dominant. The herbal fresh hops are blended, but not understated. The Mosaic hops seem like the dominant strain here, but there are flavors from Simcoe too. I'm a Simcoe fan, and not so much Mosaic, but this tastes really good. This is my favorite fresh hop of the year so far.

Can from New Seasons in Cedar Hills.
A clear amber with a dense, off-white head with great retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose has the classic wet hop sticky spice to complement the citrus and mild tropical fruit notes. Very fragrant, it covers up the mild malt sweetness present. The palate opens with a clean, fresh, wet hop flavor - bright, clean, soft and supple with floral, earth, a mild spice, a little preserved orange, a light peach note and some pine. A mild malt sweetness is present, and it does complement the hop flavor. Mildly sweet on the finish with a mild bitterness, this beer has lingering flavors of spice and wet hops. Alcohol is shockingly well hidden. Nice.
