For this West Coast IPA, we left behind all the new-fangled hoppy tricks and gimmicks and traveled back to the basics with three of our favorite PNW hops - Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. A simple malt backbone creates a clean palate for flavor waves of juicy fruit, bright citrus & resiny dankness, it's just a great IPA to be enjoyed anytime, not just at 10:04 on a Saturday night!

Look: Dull, almost burnt orange with a fluffy head that settles to a pillow and leaves good lacing behind
Aroma: Oranges, tangerine, limes, pink grapefruit, pine, mango, blueberries, strawberries, crushed fir needles, and bready malt
Taste: A rush of all things citrus hit the palate running as waves of specific fruit crash in and join the group as it develops. Pine, fir, and berries spell the citrus brigade in the middle before it rejoins to close it out, along with a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean on the finish with almost no detectable dryness
Overall: This is some good stuff. I loved the can art, pun in the name, and hop bill on this new-to-me and random find and after having one, I’m glad I was pulled in as it’s good. A tasty, slightly old-school WCIPA with a light malt bill that does enough to hold the balance but lets the hops really shine. Recommended

This beer pours a nice golden color with a medium white head that dissipated quickly and leaves lacing. The aroma is fruity and juicy with a hint of hoppy dankness. Very good old school IPA made for modern times.

Pours a clear honey gold with a finger of head that slowly settles to a thin cap with some lacing. Faint aroma of citrus and grain. Taste follows nose.
