Rated 6-11-2024 Pours a semi-clear golden color with a decent 2 finger head that stays for a while. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruits with sweet malts. Taste is similar to aroma. It has the hop bitterness in the middle and finishes semi-sweet. Decent IPA. BOD 6-9-2023.

i feel like the new beers from these guys have been coming fast and furious lately, it used to be the staples and one or two here or there, but it seems like the rate of new has been cranking and i love it. their hoppy beer is always excellent, and this one is modern and clean, juicy forward, seemingly thiol driven, and really quite drinkable for being as flavorful as it is, thanks to low bitterness, a clean ferment, and not too much grain interference. i like the idea of using space named hops, seen it before, but its a cool take, here they employ galaxy and comet, a not super common combination. this is close to clear but slightly unfiltered looking, not hazy, with a heaving white head of pretty big sized bubbles, solid retention. the nose and taste are tangerine candy, fresh pineapple, fruit punch, passion fruit and guava, and even cotton candy and fruity saltwater taffy, super interesting to my senses, fresh as can be, and sort of thiol bursted where the hops start and early and intense and run bold the whole way without ever being vegetal. light corn character to this, honeycomb, cut flowers, jasmine, candy apple, and orange popsicle, really different and really good, i have long thought comet hops were underrated as a dry hop, and this is further evidence of my correctness on that. light to drink but huge on flavor, not very bitter at all, fine carbonation, definitely an easy one to have a couple pint cans of. very modern, is there phantasm in this or something? impressive specimen, stays with me awhile, but im into it! a great buy from my mother in law!
