Consider this Hazy IPA an open invitation to the tropical hop party of your dreams. Comet, Motueka, and Citra hops deliver off the wall notes lemon lime and candied peach rings while a rich, orange haze and a pillowy soft mouthfeel with just the right amount of bitterness brings you back around the block for another sip.

Rated 4-29-2023 This beer pours a very slight hazy golden color with a very large head, that dissipated into pillowy clouds. The aroma is tropical fruit with orange, lemon and a touch of mango. Sweetness and bitterness in equal amounts make this a well-balanced beer. BOD 11-30-2022.

crux rules, they pretty much never miss, and i have come to not only buy their hoppy stuff when i see it, but seek it out. they own the hops in this part of the world, and its always so exciting to cut into a new one. hazy but not grossly thick looking, some head from the can pour sticks around, and this has big stone fruit aromas, seems juicy and ripe, some orange citrus there too, not wildly different but the hop combination is good, subtly distinct, and i think this comes off as approachable right away because the malt isnt too much, the yeast is out of the way, bitterness is light, and its not real strong or anything, nice little niche this carves for itself. the flavor is yummy, juicy, mango and summer ripe peach, nectar and honey and white florals too, very low bitterness for how hoppy it is, and actually despite the nose a faint yeast thing that actually accentuates the hops. good new school style balance to this, a mango note, coconut even, some grassy more old school hop vibes, basic malt base, could be some raw wheat in it, simple in some ways, but also kind of powerful in terms of flavor. this is a four season beer, it has a striking hop potency but is also something i could rip the whole four pack of, and once again crux delivers. its a treat to drink their stuff every time, one of the best in the west! i know their ipa stuff always rotates, but this one maybe should stick around. id buy another...
