From the Crux Fermentation Project website: Super Spiral is a modern juicy imperial IPA with a lively tropical aroma that's balanced by a rich, slightly sweet mouthfeel. Notes of mango, lime, and piney resin come courtesy of three different types of Mosaic hops. Bitterness is kept low for the style, while plenty of oats and wheat contribute lovely flavors of honey and baked cookies.

Rated 4-7-2024 This is a really good beer with a nice golden pour and medium head that stay for a while and then turns to lacing. Aroma is fruity, malty and citrus. Taste is bitter and sweet which makes for an excellent balanced beer. Doesn't taste like an Imperial, very smooth drinking. BOD 1-19-2024. 32 IBUs

Another pour at BeerNV. Golden pour leaning into a darker almost bronze. 1/3" white head. Decent clarity for the hazy flaked oat and wheat aspect going on.
The aroma is a little bit different than the average Mosaic dry hop. Doesn't seem as pungent. But there is that light guava and berry edge to it.
Taste takes on some unseen dimensions of Mosaic, comes off like a bit of Nectaron and Neomexicanus given the lime and stone fruit impact on the taste buds. Its different and not bad, so I'll give them credit for that.
The flaky malt (i.e. not barley) contribution did its intended effect and had a lower ibu feel throughout mouthfeel wise. On top of that, it makes 8% feel pretty silky and easy to put down without relying on a sweeter backdrop to choke it al down more easily.
The pine aspect was a bit off, but it maintained a level of bitterness that didn't interfere, just wasn't bound up the same way. Its a slightly different Mosaic impact than you're used to, so check it out for that reason alone.

Clear golden amber brew with long-lasting foam in the goblet. Aromatic with citrus and peach. Pleasing fruity flavor with just enough sweetness. flavors of apricot, green apples, and a hint of honey. Then orange and a tangy finish with moderate bitter aftertaste. This is less alcohol-tasting and less sweet than a lot of DIPAs. I call it quite drinkable and plenty hoppy. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 01/19/24.

16oz can at Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, one finger persisting white foamy head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Taste brings some sweet malts in, the hops get bitter and dry, fruity flavors at the back. Clean finish
