From the Crux Fermentation Project website: Brewed to be our signature IPA in Portland, Grade A, is brimming with notes of citrus, lychee, and passionfruit. The name is a nod to the historic Dairy Building where our PDX pub is located. A medley of Citra, Mosaic, and HBC 586 hops make this beer a refreshing classic.

From a 6-pack picked up at Jim's Market in Banks, OR
12oz can poured into a Buoy can-shaped glass
P gold w/ a slight chill haze; 1f white head; heavy lace down 1 side of the glass
N soft-med to med nose of lychee, pineapple; opens up and becomes bolder quickly; pleasant
T bitey citrus forward leads into pineapple, lychee, and passionfruit over med pale malt; some dankness; pretty tasty; a bit of citrus/piney bitterness lingers
Mf med-bodied w/ med to med-high carb
O a solid IPA; drinks lighter than the 7% abv suggests

Tall pile of foam in the Pilsner glass. Clear amber brew. Aromatic with pine and dankness. Just a hint of malty sweetness but quite sharp. Hot and sudsy on the tongue. Taste is intense, woody and herbaceous, greens and juniper, plus some berries. Quite bitter aftertaste. This is quite boldy flavored but rather acidic. With some more sweetness this could have been a decent DIPA, but it's just too overhopped. Time to dose up the Lager. From the 12 oz can purchased on the coast. Dated 03/27/25.

Pours a nice light golden color with a 1 finger bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is malt and citrus and a mellow hop taste to round it out. Very drinkable with an average ABV and IBU that are well balanced out. Very slight dankness, so it covers all the bases. Purchased at Costco. Rated 8-1-2024 65 IBUs

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, abundant white foamy head, light lacing. Hoppy, dusty aroma, faint orange. Taste is light citrusy hops, with a little bit more bitterness and notes of citrus oil. Doesn't quite come together for me

On tap at Crux
A- pours a clear light golden color with a one-finger creamy white head that has great retention
S- huge lychee note with citrus notes of tangerine, some doughy malt undertones
T- fresh and green hoppy notes up front, quickly followed by that lychee note found on the nose. Mid-palate gives some zesty and pithy grapefruit. The finish is slightly bready, with a linger of lychee and grapefruit zest
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel that turns creamy into the finish

Draft at Crux in Bend. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left nice lacing on the glass. It smelled of orange, grapefruit, caramel and resin. It tasted of tropical fruit, toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.
