12 oz can. Pours black with tall, long lasting, creamy, brown head and nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malt, toffee, dark fruit, alcohol and chocolate. Body is full, creamy and slightly crisp. Taste is of nutty, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, dark fruit, alcohol, wood, vinegar and herbal hops. Finish is long and slightly sour. Interesting brew.

Keaken level of dark brown color with a warm chestnut colored head shaped like mousse and session lasting. Super chocolatey aroma with a strong roast component to the flavor. Light fruitiness of sapodilla, dried cranberries, and baked pear with brown sugar. Toasted walnut adds to the graininess of the malt. Perhaps roastier and slightly drier than most other milk stouts, but that's my only real qualm.

A: opaque; cola brown in color; 1 finger finely pored dark brown head that receded to a wispy cap; OK lacing;
S: deeply roasted grains with bittersweet chocolate in the background;
T: deeply roasted grains for a moment, then milk chocolate with the roasted grain in the background through the finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium to full bodied; moderate carbonation - a little creamy; moderately dry finish;
O: really nice flavor and mouthfeel;
