Aged for 7 years, hmm...so they've had this laying around since I first played hooky at MSMC from watching a 90 min film?
Dark, deep, and shadowed ruby-tinged cimarron. Smoky almond, manchego, balsamic reduction, lemon, calvados and spice. Enough carbonation to make it beer-like. Marcona liqueur soaked cherry, deep fig jam. Littlr to no hops, extremely vinous, vicious esters; the name really says it all as the sherry overwhelms. A hard beer to drink on its own merits because it is so bullish. But it does go nicely with a strong goat/blue cheese and/or bacon.
