Pours a cloudy golden amber color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention is mild. Lacing is good. Big citrus aroma with some piney resin. Malty with a big citrus taste. Good resinous taste up front. Hides alcohol well. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

This beer is heading in the right direction, then tanks. Pours a very nice cloudy ipa with excellent dry hop notes on teh aroma. The body is right, and there is nice bitter hop component, however the back end tastes like buttery, grassy, cardboard. I wanted to like it, but i couldnt

Dank resinous hop bomb. Nose and pallate are a ton of resinous hops, follow by a bit of citrus fruit. Very clean, crisp, light body. What I look for in terms of body for a double IPA. Great beer.

Poured from tap into stulip, nice 1 finger cream colored head, recedes quickly. Hazy dark golden in the glass, hazy to look at. Smells heavy of pine and citrus. Taste heavily hopped, big time. This has the same flavor profile of yr, could be cousins

On tap at the Flying Saucers 16th Anniversary Party.

A: Pours a basically clear golden/yellow color. A dense two finger white head forms with good retention and rings of lace left down the glass.
S: I hate to be cliche, but dank hops all the way. Ridiculously aromatic, piny, resiny, like sap. Though more fruity hops come into play. Very Tropical even. Kind of a generic description, but the best I can come up with.
T: Like the nose, dank as can be, pine, resiny tree sap flavors. Fruity hops, that are a bit tropical. Citrus, papaya, even mango. A firm bitterness, but certainly no over done, which for me has been an issue in the past with Brash. The hop flavor is very assertive, but rounded and well incorporated.
M/O: A medium to full body. Good effervescence that is crisp, super clean and finishes dry. All around, really enjoyable to drink. Not overbearing at all and something I will come back to often if I see it pop up.

I hope this is will be made more often. A much cleaner, brighter, rounder, all around better IPA than Pussy Wagon. In just about every regard as far as I am concerned. A really well made, and recommended. For me, that is saying something with a Brash IPA.
