Thanks to megadeph for this 22 oz. bomber which I am about to split with my wife to cap off a night of 13% plus beers. I shouldn’t drink so much.
The pour is blacker than the inside of the USS Midway during a blackout. Reeks of coffee.
Hammer Smashed Face – the name is a backstory I’d like to hear. The beer consists of what, coffee, barrel, vanilla, with bitterness mixed into the mélange that could be roast or cocoa inspired, with harshness to the whiskey that contrasts to the current flock of smoooooooooooth barrel aged stouts. I like harsh. Goes down easy, like girl scout cookies before dinner. I have two boxes upstairs. Wait, one and a half.
Was hoping for epic & faced with very good. That’s acceptable.
