Thanks to Megadeph for this 500ML bottle; split with my wife.
The pour is blakker than a moonless night in Denham, MN, but probably doesn’t smell as good. Lots of chocolate & cinnamon on the nose; I’m a bit frightened.
Firewalker has more layers than Kardashian foundation. Cinnamon that comes across as spicy rather than cinnamon-y, hearty whiskey, a rye-like spiciness spinning up from somewhere, rich malts, with bits & pieces of vanilla & chocolate floating in the mix. But for the inevitable 4:00 AM heartburn, I could’ve taken this bottle solo happily.
Missing the maple, which would have pumped this up another notch, but an excellent beer.

Pours a pitch black color with a small foamy head. No head retention or lacing. Strong chocolate, vanilla and coffee aroma. Smooth vanilla taste. Mild chocolate. Coffee on the end. Heavy bodied with mild carbonation.
