A: Pours an opaque black color. A two finger tan head forms with good retention and lace. Yep, this looks like a stout...
S: Milk chocolate and sugar sweetness. Roast and coffee. The peppers aren't really a factor in the nose, but pretty straight forward for Brash, and pretty indistinguishable from any other Imperial Milk Stouts they make.
T: Oh yeah, there it is, and it does hurt. At first a shock to the system. Just hot pepper heat all the way. Maybe some chocolate and roasted malts try to poke their head through, but really just vegetal and pepper like.
M/O: Certainly a full body, but I can't really give any other real descriptors as I just get peppers and that distracts me from anything else. Nope, not something enjoyable to drink. Don't care how you frame it, just not something I want to come back to. After a few sips, I'm done.
Not that I can't handle my heat, I'll take you to Asian Market Thai Lao in the Heights if you don't believe me. This, however, is just Brash trolling (they have been doing a lot of that lately. more than usual, and trolling with a specific beer is on another level I guess), and all the fanboys will fawn at the overlords because of it. The stouts they make are mostly all the same, just little tweaks with different coffees and other additives. More often the not, the additives make it unbalanced, not pleasant to drink in anyway, and overall not impressed. Which is not in anyway surprising.

Very imperial stout initially with a pleasantly strong kick of spice at the end. Will definitely try again.
