The can lists this beer at 7.9% ABV. so this appears to be a reformatted recipe now that Equal Parts owns Brash. anyway. awesome beer.
Drank 5/15/25 -- best by 10/19/25
Pour is a clear pale yellow with a dense cap of lasting chalk white foam. Excellent retention and lacing
Nose is dank, berries, mosaic hops for sure, tropical fruit.
Taste is berries, tropical fruit, citrus, dank
Clean, crisp mouthfeel; moderate body.
Great beer.
Drank 10/19/23. Reformulated(?) Pussy Wagon? This is 7.6%. Pussywagon was 7. Anyway.
Nose is resinous, dank hops with hints of candied malt flavor.
Taste follows. Firm bitterness, resin, citrus rind, nice hop character. Balanced by firm bready, almost caramel malt backbone. Overall good beer.
I recall liking Pussy Wagon better - seem to remember a bigger hop punch....but it's been years and the times have changed. Overall, a very good beer.
Brewed like a classic west coast imperial ipa. A little sweeter than my personal preference for the style. But I don't think it's wrong stylistically. Still a well made beer.

A: Pours with a slight haze, an orange color. A white head rises to two fingers. Good retention and lace left behind.
S: Floral, citrus, and pine resin. All fine, but pretty standard. Very simple and enjoyable.
T: That Floral, citrus and pine resin again. This becomes particularly sweet with a lingering bitterness.
M/O: A full body with moderate carbonation. The resiny, sticky, sweetness takes its toll. There needs to be a crisper bite with some dryness. OK to drink. If its the only IPA around, it will work.
This is a pretty by the books IPA. I was never the biggest fan of Pussy Wagon either as they both seemed rather standard to me. Which is far from bad. Though the cult and fanboy's of Brash always seemed to over hype these for me. Its perfectly fine, and just standard.
