A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, and a Mowheato is in your hand. Inspired by an idea from our old brewer, Nik, comes this wheat gose-style ale based on the Mojito. Key lime juice, lime peel, mint, honey, and sea salt were muddled in a wheat base, which was soured and dry-hopped with Wai-iti hops. The resulting ale has a lime presence, followed by mint, and rounded out with a slightly salty and sour finish.
