Contrary to the name, this beer does not contain PA-sourced ingredients, but refers to historical significance of Porters in PA. The “Old Guard” breweries of PA brought the porter style of beer back from extinction. Unlike the original English porters which were brewed as ales, we use lager yeast which rounds out the character and makes it clean. This beer has a roasty and chocolate nose with a very smooth mouth feel. Enjoy drinking history!
