According to the draft menu at KClinger's the house brown ale is now being brewed by Otto's Pub and Brewery in State College.
Served cool in a standard pint at KClinger's Tavern in Hanover, PA.
A - A deep caramel brown w/ garnet highlights and a thin 1 finger tan head that allows for a scattered lace pattern.
S - A slighly malty aroma of toasted malt w/ a hint of noble hops. The scent is light for the most part.
M - A medium bodied brown that is nicely balanced with moderated sweetness and a dry finish.
T - Very smooth and mild start. This brown ale tastes of lightly roasted malt. The flavor is semi-sweet w/ a nutty mild taste and a decent noble hop accent. The hops have some spiced attributes as it warms. There is a tasty caramel malt sweetness underneath the toasted and spice elements.
D - A really tasty brown ale, and an easy quaffer. Very nicely balanced and brewed to the English style. A bit more hops in the taste than I remember w/ the Weyerbacher version, but well balanced and solid.
