This beer is made for especially Kelly's, a restaurant in nearby Boalsburg, PA. I picked up a 22oz bomber at the 6-pack shop next to it.
Pours a medium ruby-amber with a small, foamy, off white. Good retention and excellent lacing. Smell is of sweet malts, caramel, grass and piney hops. Taste follows suit. VERY sweet up front. Distractingly sweet, but then the pine comes in on the increasingly dry finish to balance it out and save the mouthfeel. It's actually quite enjoyable once you get used to that initial hit of sweetness.
