OCCASION: celebrating our twenty-second anniversary at Penn State with Jer: shopping downtown, rummy at Voodoo Brewery, and a Jaws premiere for the boys...GLASSWARE: Duvel snifter... pours a beige orange tint, hazy enough to veil any bubbles... its lacing is coral arcs that spring from a two-fingered, off-white sea foam... pink lemonade, tangerine, strong melon, and bright resinous hops make for an alluring aroma, fruity and juicy.... its delivery is equally juicy, smooth, and with a buzz about the teeth... its finish is easy and asking for its next sip... melon and lemonade explode in the profile, with oats and cracker balancing the flavor... a nice one-off from Otto's, singular in its hop profile and easy-drinking for its 7.4% ABV...
