growler sent my way from NittanyBeerFan..thanks again

a-deep dark copper color...three finger slightly off white head ...sticky lacing...bubbles are present

s-bitter piney hops and sweet caramel malt on the nose...nothing really jumps out..

t-sweet citrus hops kick it off and the bitter piney hops rush in the take over...the sweet caramel malt rides in the middle and holds this together...the bitterness comes back to finish this off...it does have a lingering sweet note as well

m-slightly resiny ...the carbonation is great...the abv is not completely hidden..coats the mouth well

d-a growler of this would be no chore to put away...an easy drinking ipa with lots of flavor

i was pleasantly surprised by this beer....i would gladly take another growler of this...thanks again dan....

This beer was an amber/golden color with a thin head that dissipated quickly. The beer had a nice hop and flowery (jasmine?) aroma. The beer felt a little sticky in my mouth, which I found to be a bit unpleasant. The flavour was a bit sweet for what an IPA should be...

I hate to say it but of all the Otto's beers I’ve had this one was surprisingly un-inspiring. There was nothing bad about it other than a somewhat boring average-ness about it. I certainly mean no offence by it. A brewery can't be expected to make a best beer every time.

Appearance: Served and amber color.

Smell & Taste: Grassy hops and hints of fruit on a sweet malt body.

Mouthfeel: Light medium body with a distinct dryness.

Drinkability: It is beer. And good relative to the macro world but a bit avererage in an ocean of great beers. Still if I was in State College and I was eating a spicy dinner that simple need a beer to drink w/o thinking about it, this would be a very fine choice.

Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!

Pours a nice amber with little head but good side cling. Has a faint citrusy aroma with hints of floral. The taste is a nice consistent citrus that is the same throughout. Has a medium body mouthfeel that is also consistent. some aftertaste that's a bit bitter but pleasant. This is a very drinkable and enjoyable beer.

Rich coppery color with a light tan head that leaves a substantial lace. Nice grassy hop aroma. Initially, a rich fruity flavor, quickly followed by a good hop bitterness. The balance is very good for an IPA - definitely weighted towards the hops but they don't overpower other flavor aspects of the ale. A slight warming from alchohol is detected after a few sips. The mouthfeel is medium-full - about what one would expect for the style. This is one of the most drinkable IPA's I've tasted.

Light Amber goledn in color. Big bold hoppy nose. Rich and mouth puckering hop goodness with enough malt sweetness as not to make it overbearing. Very rich mothfeel with bitter dry finish. Very drinkable. So far, this is my favorite.
