22 oz bomber pours a hazed amber color with a small off-white head. Seems a bit undercarbonated for a Belgian style ale.
Nose is pleasantly fruity, plums and raspberries mainly. Malt has a toasty aroma and if you are expecting a BSPA like a Chouffe or Duvel - this is not it...Id say it smells more like a Belgian Amber/BSDA.
Taste is rather nice...nutty, lightly toasted malt mingle very well with the fruits that are not quite as pungent as raisins or figs...more of a fresh plum flesh. Mouthfeel doesnt seem to be affected by the low carbonation like I thought it would. After a few sips, I would have guessed Dubbel before any other style, but either way it is a tasty brew. I believe I will have to procure another bottle or two.

This ale poured out a dark brown color with plenty of carbonation and small tan head that quickly faded away into a thin line around the outer edges of the glass. There’s plenty of lacing and the beer looks inviting over all.
The aroma is a mixture of spices, raisins, figs, apple and some mild citrus fruits.
The taste is pretty good, its smooth at first then warms up, it’s slightly bitter when it first hits your tongue then mellows out into spices and roasted malts as it hits the sides of your mouth.
It medium bodies leaning more towards the light end of the scale.
Overall, this is not a bad beer and it goes down pretty smoothly.
