Brown and bubbly with a nice tan head. Had it on tap at Good Dog in the Heights, Houston TX.
It is grassy on the nose and on the palate. It is more hoppy than I expected but to me it was perfect.
It has some malty toasted notes but the grassyness of the hops is more predominant (I love it).
I will have again. For the most part I consider brown ales too mild for my taste but this was almost like having a black IPA. expect the feel it is lighter and less thick than an IPA and the hopes not as bitter.
