Coming in at a modest 43 IBU this India Pale Ale is all about a rich smooth malt back bone balanced by traditional american hops. The Green Anole is a beautiful lizard found all over Texas that has a red dewlap under his neck.

Appearance – 3.5.
Body – Medium yellow, hazy and translucent.
Head – Small (Overfilled by bartender), off-white, medium density, average retention, diminishing to a three mm ring and complete thin layer.
Lacing – Fair. Basically, a thin reticulum with small cells.
First pour – N/A.
Aroma – 4 – Initially very strong pine but rapidly fades into more of a weak, earthy smell. Uses simcoe hops.
Flavor – 4 – Both malty and bitter, no hop flavor noticed. No alcohol, no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.5 – Medium, almost creamy, lively carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 3.5 – OK but neither earth-shattering nor worth repeating. One and done.
