Appearance: Solid amber, looking a little light for the style, with some gold notes. Slim suds cover. Medium visibility and low viscosity.
Aroma: A little grapefruit bristle and some grassy notes - mild, not much on the nose at all.
Taste: Light, slightly grassy, with a biscuity orange finish. Reminded of GT's red-eyed troll, and this is almost it's lighter cousin. Probably a little thin and a little tame for the style.
Mouthfeel: Thin, dry, with low carbonation. Not much aftertaste.
Drinkability: Easy drinking, especially on a 100+ day. The brewer was aiming to make a really mild, easy-drinking beer, and in this regard he succeeded. However, I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of the malt and fruits that make scottish ales so delightful on the palate.
