A - Yellow body bording on orange. The head is stark white and starts out at a couple inches tall. It fades at a moderate rate to a thin wisp of white head coating the surface.
S - Beglian yeast aroma but very faint.
T - Slightly sweet maltiness alongside a Belgian yeast taste. However, there's a slight astringency in the finish that does take away a bit from the flavor.
M - Smooth and easy drinker. It goes down very well and offers no abbrasive texture at all. It even has a slight thickness that makes it feel even better.
~ This is a good drinker. It offers a nice 'head' at 7.8% abv. This isn't something I will seek out again in the future but if I'm back at the brewpub, I would have it again.

Pours a hazy, golden yellow color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of a sweetness, banana, coriander, and slight wheat. Fits the style of a Belgian Pale Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and slightly chewy with an average carbonation level. Tastes of banana, coriander, slight pear, some floral flavors from the yeast, and sweet malt in the finish. Overall, a pretty good Belgian Pale Ale. I'm guessing the recipe has changed since earlier reviews, because it is much better than the earlier reviews give credit.

A fair-to-good Belgian, probably a little more drinkable than would be ideal, but very tasty. Notes of orange peel and clove and maybe a little cherry on the nose. Nice Belgian-ish flavor, orange peel in the background. Coming after a meal and a barrel-aged stout, this was a nice palate-cleanser.

picked up a growler at the troll today only to return to this horrid rating by dapeculierdane! Eric - your opinion is trusted but we have differed before so i wont be too down on this one before i try it
appearance: pours into my la chouffe tulip...cloudy/murky copper-orange, nice beige froth with good retention
smell: yeasty and sweet but slightly off in a slightly rotten way...its not that bad but it doesnt sit well on the nose...banana, cherry, wet hay
taste: hmm...hay covered in old apple juice and left in the sun, dayquil bananas. This is certainly the odd beer out in the 3 that i tried today (glad i got a growler!!!) Its just a poorly crafted belgian that doesnt fit the style at all...too syrupy, too sweet, not enough yeast, not enough zest
mouthfeel: a bit thick
drinkability: meh

A thorough let down, this beer was muddled and off. Appearance is a dirty pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is boozy, rotten, and sweaty. Rotten, fermented fruit and vegetables dominate the nose. Yuck! The flavor is ridiculously boozy and also quite rotten. There are a complex number of fruits found here, banana, mellon, orange, etc
Unfortunately the banana is brown, the mellon is moldy, and the orange is covered in penicillin. Maybe its just the name but Im really getting the idea that somebody rung out a gym towel into this beer too. Bleigh! Body is heavy and boozy, very warming. Drinkability? Im sorry to say it because I love this brew pub, but this one is a drain pour. I look forward to improvement in future batches.
